Take 5 is a song I've been wanting to work on for years, but am incredibly daunted by. I am planning to work on this song throughout this challenge.
Today I focused on the feet and ultimately constrained myself further by thinking of them as two dancers, never leaving the floor.

my first attempt essencially ignores the 5/4 time signature and imagines it as an extended 4-beat pattern consisting of "slow, slow, quick, quick", often with a triple step in the second half. My original thought was to bring the triple step up front, because lindy hop is typically danced as a 10-step dance (over two measures) and those three steps up front would fit nicely and make for some super straight lindy footwork. Unfortunately I can't not swing my triples and the lack of syncapation is really not working for me. in this attempt i'm very footwoork heavy / feet-focused, which I think is great. time bar note 00:00 - 001 - intro 00:08 - 005 - intro - jazz square with little cadencias -> drag (on heel esp.)
